Service Animals

What are service animals you might ask?
They are animals that help people with a disability or disorder. They also help policeman, firefighters, the military and people in the community. Service animals are not pets, they are considered working dogs and they are allowed to go everywhere. They are even allowed to go where pets are not allowed to go because they aren't literally pets. They're working animals. If you see a service animal do not go up and pet it because it is working. The owner may not want you to pet it and the animal may get startled and scared when you touch it. You can identify a service animal because sometimes they wear a vest like the one in the picture. If the service animal does not have a vest on, then always ask the owner of any pet before you touch any animal.
